The boat that rocked

Also know as Pirate Radio, this comedy film treats about illegal radio station that works on board of a ship in the north sea (united kingdom) in the 60's, which is chased for the British goverment police, since it commins outrage against the morality and good customs of the community. The radio plays rock songs and promotes "sex, drugs and rock and roll".

The main characters consists of "The Count", the brash American DJ on Radio Rock; Quentin (The big boss) and his grandson Carl, who is sent to stay with Quentin on the Radio Rock ship; DJ "Doctor" Dave, who unsuccessfully attempts to help Carl lose his virginity; Gavin, a massively popular DJ brought out of retirement by Quentin, leading to a professional rivalry with The Count; Felicity, the lesbian cook and the only woman permitted to live on the ship. and finally Sir Alistair Dormandy, a government minister who endeavors to shut pirate radio stations down, between others.

I like this movie because it represents an epoch of effervescence and social taking the lid off things. Where the youth I try to go out of the established canons. This one accompanied of good musical and good photography.

I visit this page from time to time, to see that new measured of support have been implemented. I knew the program in 2007 - 2008, when i was studyng Obstetrics and Puericulture. I use it in his beginnings in my practices as midwife. The implementation began when the pregnancy was diagnosed in my patients. Both Chile Grows With You and his webpage are very didactic, accesible, showy and playful, because are not difficult to deal. Actually, as educator will can to continue working whit this, principally with preschool children, so that will be very useful for my.
